MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Window Systems Administrator to join our team in Hanover, MD.
Occasional travel local to Denver, CO, San Antonio, TX and Herndon, VA. Minimal off hour/weekend support
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Configures and manages Windows-based servers, workstations, and laptops.
Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems. System administrators will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users.
Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
Installs and configures Windows systems including back-end databases and scripts.
Performs systems maintenance by reviewing error logs.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years’ experience in Windows Systems Administration with Active Directory and SANS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar Information Technology focused major. A degree can be substituted for 4 years of additional experience.
Experience in Windows environments and troubleshooting issues with Windows systems and solve a range of problems independently.
MCSE / Azure certification required
Must understand Active Directory and experience in air gapped network
SME on Active Directory, Hyper-V Cluster, SAN, Remote Desktop Services, IIS, File Print
Working knowledge of routers, switches -Cisco IOS
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/poly.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet. Ability to lift and handle up to 75 pounds.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
