MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Windows Engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This position is onsite.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Report directly to the Project Manager and supports execution in a matrix organization

• Building and managing Windows Server environments to include configuring organizational units (OUs) and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to align with organizational requirements and security standards

• Configuring AD Server Roles such as Certificate Authorities (CAs), IIS, File/Print, and DNS

• In-depth understanding of Active Directory (AD) Attributes, LDAP Queries, and PowerShell scripting for modifying AD configurations

• Supports the growth of the network enclave in capability, capacity, and user base, as well as demands for network improvements

• Analyzes and optimizes configurations, architecture, to improve performance

• Installs, upgrades and troubleshoots Windows and Windows support systems across the enclave

• Support a team environment based on mutual respect and teamwork, dedicated to innovation and effective, efficient work practices

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelors degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma and 9+ years of relevant experience

• Experience with a combination of Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022), Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), IIS, and Group Policy

• Experience with a combination of PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, SCCM, HBSS, Windows Update Services (WSUS), and Exchange Servers

• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)

• Computing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) certifications (ex. Linux, Windows, VMWare)

• IAT-II level at a minimum in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2 and DoD 8140/8570. (ex. CompTia Sec+)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred

• Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks

• Strong technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain SAP access.

Physical Requirements:

• Up to 25% travel anticipated.

• Work will require movement from Government site to/from MANTECH site for client meetings and support functions.

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which involve delivering presentations.
