MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Travel Operations Specialist to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plans and directs daily activities associated with making travel reservations, issuing tickets, and providing travel information to passengers.
Monitor travel progress to ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and verify that all travel arrangements meet safety benchmarks.
Implement training programs for staff on the use of specialized reservation equipment and coordinate with external vendors for large-scale group movements.
Manages the execution of theater entry and travel tasks for Special Operations personnel in the Pacific AOR.
Evaluate Regional Travel Status Reports to prioritize flight schedules and ensure the timely arrival of mission-critical staff.
Lead the coordination of local Administrative Teams to resolve complex processing issues affecting theaterwide readiness and command operations.
Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
10+ years of position-relevant experience
Experience in formal document approval and quality gate oversight
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or a related field.
Certification in Government travel management
Knowledge of Aircraft Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) and Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP) protocols.
Clearance Required:
Must hold an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
