MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Thunderdome Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of enterprise project with the following technologies, Versa SD-WAN (Thunderdome architecture), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Micro-segmentation and policy enforcement, IPSec encrypted overlays and TLS secure tunnels, Application-aware routing and dynamic path selection, Secure multi-enclave integration

• Design and deploy enterprise network infrastructure: Cisco ISR / ASR routing platforms, Cisco Catalyst (9300/3850) and NX-OS switching, Cisco ASA firewall operations, Layer 2 / Layer 3 segmentation design, VLAN architecture and trunking strategies, DHCP Snooping and Dynamic ARP Inspection, Port-channel design and high availability, Routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STIG compliance and CCRI readiness and Configuration hardening per DoD cybersecurity standards

• Manage application delivery and security: F5 BIG-IP LTM / GTM administration, SSL/TLS offloading and certificate lifecycle management, iRules and advanced traffic policy configuration, High-availability clustering and failover design, Secure application publishing, Load balancing across multi-tier architectures

• Oversee DNS, DDI and IP address management: Infoblox Grid architecture, Internal and external DNS services, Enterprise DHCP across secure enclaves, IPAM governance and automation

• Maintain operational leadership and mission impact: Plan and execute ASIs with zero mission-impact downtime, lead Cisco lifecycle upgrades (Catalyst / NX-OS platforms), support DISA NAV assessments and remediation of CAT I / CAT II findings, integrate SolarWinds monitoring post-migration for enhanced operational visibility, coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in field necessary to assume Senior Network Engineer duties and Nine (9) or more years of professional experience

• High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

• A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant Network Engineering experience.

• Hold at least one of the following certifications:

  • CCNA, CCNP, CCNP Security, CCIE, Versa SD-WAN Certified Associate/Professional

• Deep technical expertise across Versa Networks (Thunderdome architecture), Cisco enterprise infrastructure, F5 BIG-IP application delivery platforms, and Infoblox DDI solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. Experience with advanced networking technologies and techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex lifecycle upgrades, execute Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI), remediate STIG findings, and maintain operational continuity in highly regulated, high-visibility environments. Experienced supporting DISA Network Assistance Visits (NAV), CCRI preparation, and enterprise security compliance initiatives.

• Extensive experience designing, securing, and sustaining mission-critical DoD enterprise networks in direct support of Combatant Command operations. Proven expertise in SD-WAN, Zero Trust architecture, secure enclave segmentation, and modernization of high-availability infrastructure across CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
