MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Sourcer to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. This is a hybrid position requiring on site presence two days per week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain networks of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates. Drive recruiting outcomes by identifying and bringing forward applicants for key hard-to-find talent areas

  • Recommend and execute ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and/or fine-tuning standard processes, while supporting MANTECH's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.

  • Utilize traditional and non-traditional resources to identify qualified candidates through job posting sites, referrals, networking and social media opportunities in order to develop a pipeline of available candidates. Develop passive talent pipelines for future hiring needs and trends. Research and target new talent sourcing channels and maintain and be accountable for data-entry discipline in all required systems (CRM, ATS etc.)

  • Develop a deep understanding of the core business/programs, to successfully execute complex sourcing strategies in regard to our strategic Technology Focus Areas

  • Provide strong partnership to hiring managers and recruiting teammates to develop and adapt sourcing strategies and processes to deliver on strategic business hiring priorities.

  • Participate in initiatives together with Talent Acquisition leadership to position MANTECH as an employer of choice and implement meaningful strategies to successfully attract right fit talent

  • Utilize inclusion and diversity and its importance in hiring for MANTECH programs and the technical organization and utilize data and metrics to continuously improve our sourcing strategy and approach and to analyze impact; report weekly activity

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and four or more years of relevant work experience

  • Prior experience in candidate identification and engagement (Sourcing / Recruiting) at a Search firm or in a Corporate Recruiting function

  • Prior experience or knowledge of technical recruiting areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Search Firm experience preferred

  • Experience with Workday or other ATS systems; experience with CRM or similar candidate management systems

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.


The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
