MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team at Quantico, VA

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates the procurement, shipping, installation, configuration, and integration of multi-network systems for a global USMC program, driving a seamless "DISA-to-Desktop" architecture.
  • Plans, designs, and maintains the connectivity of enterprise system and network assets, ensuring compliance and secure operations across classified networks and domains
  • Ensures all systems, servers, network switches, and routers are operational, properly configured, and strictly compliant with DISA STIG requirements; performs regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Configures, maintains, and monitors firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for access control, implementing security measures tailored for specialized USMC systems.
  • Supports the planning and implementation of enterprise service connections across domains, facilitating secure cloud computing architecture (SCCA), cross-domain solutions, and guards.
  • Collaborates with ISSOs and Cybersecurity Services Leads in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, providing inputs and documentation, and mentors/trains other NOC staff and Junior Engineers.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a relevant technical field (Four (4) years of additional relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of degree); 9+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years of that time spent working in a relevant Systems/Network Engineering role.
  • Deep understanding of systems integration, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routing, and comprehensive network security principles.
  • Expertise in configuring and managing enterprise devices (routers, switches, firewalls) with hands-on experience in Cisco technologies (e.g., IOS, NX-OS) and security appliances (e.g., ASA firewalls, ISE).
  • Proven experience securing classified networks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS) and implementing DISA STIGs; strong familiarity with NIST frameworks and RMF.
  • Must hold an active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification at minimum.
     

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience implementing multi-vendor VoIP and VTC products in RMF environments.
  • Experience with scripting/automation tools for system management; familiarity with the ITIL framework (ITIL Foundation certificate desired).
  • Relevant high-level networking or systems certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or Red Hat).
  • Prior experience supporting a USMC enterprise program, or experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., INDOPACOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM).
     

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be eligible to obtain Special Access Program (SAP)

Travel Requirements:

  •  25% CONUS and OCONUS
     

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00.
