MANTECH is seeking motivated, career and customer-oriented SharePoint Solutions Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for modernizing legacy business processes and transforming them into secure, automated digital workflows within a Sentris Protected SharePoint environment to support a large enterprise IT system. This role combines business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on SharePoint configuration to deploy secure site collections, lists, and tools.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate, document, and modernize customer legacy organizational business processes

  • Conducting on-site stakeholder engagements to gather functional requirements

  • Perform gap analysis, and mapping complex manual workflows into optimized digital processes within the constraints of the Sentris Protected SharePoint environment

  • Design, build and deploy secure sites collections, shared workspaces, automated workflows, tasks lists, and web content

  • Configure SharePoint site collections, lists, document libraries, web content and metadata, while ensuring Sentris access controls and protections requirements are maintained

  • Engage and coordinate with MANTECH Sentris developers and engineers to identify new applications and capabilities compatible with Sentris Protected SharePoint that may be used to increase efficiencies and modernize process implementation within the digital environment

  • Develop user training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure successful end-user adoption

  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports to Program and/or Government stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 4 years of technical experience in SharePoint systems engineering, administration, or development

  • Scripting languages: Strong background with PowerShell, C#, .NET, and JavaScript for environment customizations.

  • Data Integration: Familiarity with SQL Server database maintenance and Microsoft Graph API configuration

  • Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M or 8140 for Information Assurance and computing environment certification.

  • Secure Hybrid-Cloud or On-Premises Windows Enterprise Infrastructure experience

  • Expertise in integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party applications

  • Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation and user guides

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sentris Proficiency: Hands-on experience or completion of the Sentris Enterprise Engineer Training or certification

  • Experience in training end-users SharePoint and other systems

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation

  • Ability to lead projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current / active TS/SCI clearance.  Will need to obtain a CI Polygraph within six months.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations


The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00.
