MANTECH seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented Senior Logistics Manager to join our team in Lakehurst, NJ. This is a part-time, remote position 3 days per week.
The candidate will support the Visual Landing Aids (VLA) Division programs specializing in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) as a Logistics Management Specialist (LMS). The ILS LMS will support the VLA Division Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) with all Logistics efforts for the various VLA programs and provide guidance to the Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) and logistics personnel.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide logistics support to the VLA APML to ensure the effective planning, development, and sustainment of logistics systems and processes across the VLA Division. Will focus on standardizing logistics practices, reviewing engineering and logistics documentation, and developing training and guidance materials with the APML to enhance the efficiency and quality of logistics operations across the Division.
Assist the APML in development of Standard Work Package (SWP) Requirements and Standards to include establishing logistics requirements and processes for VLA systems to ensure consistency and compliance across all lifecycle phases.
Assist APML with the detailed review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Launch and Recovery Changes (LRCs) to ensure ECPs and LRCs meet established logistics standards and are compliant with QA requirements and assess their impact on logistics processes and systems.
Assist APML with the development of standardized training materials and creating training materials to enhance the knowledge and skills of DAPMLs and other logistics personnel across the Division.
Assist APML with providing daily guidance and support to the VLA DAPMLs with everyday logistics tasks and providing guidance on programmatic issues.
Assist APML with programmatic support and Quality Assurance (QA) compliance ensuring logistics processes and deliverable meet programmatic requirements and QA review standards.
Provide support to the APML in the management and execution of ECPs, Technical Directives (TDs), modifications associated with the configuration management process.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
10+ years of logistics support for entire life cycle related to DoD systems; an additional 5+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree requirement
Experience with Microsoft Word to include extensive knowledge with formatting of documents and converting Microsoft Word documents to PDF
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in full lifecycle logistics ILS in planning, development, and sustainment of logistics systems and processes; focusing on standardizing logistics practices, reviewing engineering and logistics documentation, and developing training and guidance materials to enhance the efficiency and quality of logistics operations across the Division.
Experience in development of SWP Requirements and Standards to include establishing logistics requirements and processes to ensure consistency and compliance across all lifecycle phases to include maintenance planning, provisioning, sustainment and aligns with QA standards and are audit ready.
Experience in managing, execution, developing and detailed review of ECPs, LRCs and TDs to ensure ECPs, LRCs and TDs meet established logistics standards and are compliant with QA requirements and assessing their impact on logistics processes and systems.
Experience in development of standardized training materials and creating training materials on key logistics topics, including ECP/LRC development, in-service issues/supply support (REIs, DCNs, SM&R code changes, acquisition efforts (LORA, DI/MP management, provisioning development, ILS Cert development, budgeting/work year planning, etc.).
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required with an active Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to read and write effectively.
Must be able to use a computer for document preparation and document reviews.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers via verbal and email correspondences.
The projected compensation range for this position is $89,100.00-$148,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
