MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team in Washington, D.C.. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform technical assessments/acceptability of software
  • Representing the customer on various technical review and inspection teams
  • Obtain, compile, and summarize information for use by others
  • Ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues
  • Working with database engineering to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems
  • Analyze and recommend alternatives and options for solutions
  • Reconcile and evaluate the content, accuracy of table and any effect on General Ledger and subsidiary accounts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience in functional analysis, and experience with Momentum Financials®
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues Ability to write and use SQL for queries and to troubleshoot data integrity Documentation skills for processes and procedures
  • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/ civilian personnel and industry partners.                            
  • Service oriented mentality required.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical customers both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict management, and team building skills to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of goals.  

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $109,000.00-$181,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
