MANTECH is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Senior Acquisition Instructor to help support our current Marine Corps Contract in Stafford, VA. This work is PTOC (Part Time On Call).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conduct professional training focused on an audience of Department of Defense acquisition professionals.  Subjects may include but are not limited to leadership, program planning and management, logistics, intelligence, information systems, manpower and training, fielding, sustainment, financial management, and budget execution. 

• Develop programs of instruction and lesson content focused on subjects that impact day-to-day acquisition planning and operations as directed.  

• Train and advise PMO leadership and principal staff on process optimization and effective communication within the organization and to higher command echelons.

• Advise on ways in which advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and related capabilities may be employed to streamline staff processes and leadership decision making.

• Contribute to strategic and communications planning as may be required by the PMO.

• Provide advice and expert counsel on the most effective means of executing DoD orders and directives pertaining to materiel development activities such as design, engineering, development, integration, testing, fielding, and sustainment focused on Marine Corps capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, cyber, or related field and at least 10 years of experience supporting DoD programs in the defense acquisition community.

• Strong experience in DoD acquisition program management

Preferred Qualifications:

• DAWIA certification

• Knowledge in leading analytical efforts on highly complex and mission specific operational problems.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Clearance Required:

• Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Sedentary Work.
