MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain, update, and organize project documents, reports, proposals, and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy.

  • Interview subject matter experts (SMEs), such as developers, engineers, and product managers, to gain an in-depth understanding of the product, service, or process. They also research existing documentation and product samples.

  • Provide proactive administrative support to ManTech’s Project Management team

  • Conduct project analysis and formal reporting on project metrics

  • Ensure project management reporting is in compliance with company policy

  • Capable of maintaining documentation after initial creation (SOP lifecycle management, version control, configuration management of artifacts).

  • Ability to ingest technical content and convert it into clear documentation with minimal SME input.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of relevant technologies (e.g., IT, networking, software development lifecycle) and ability to interpret technical language.

  • High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant IT systems / Technical Writing experience

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and project management/collaboration tools (like Jira, Confluence) is often required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience supporting Agile software development teams; familiarity with software development lifecycle and Scrum practices.

  • Demonstrated technical writing proficiency to draft and maintain SOPs, runbooks, Confluence pages, meeting notes, slide decks, and SharePoint/Teams workspaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing NCTE/NTB product knowledge or prior Navy training systems experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience in leading analytical efforts on highly complex and mission specific operational problems

  • Experience in directing and collaborating with technical teams on operational and/or developmental projects throughout the system life cycle (development of requirements to final delivery)

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship and active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
