MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Oracle Database Administrator to join our team.  Must be located within a commutable distance of Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain Reporting Instance (RI) Database
• Mastery of writing complex queries, subqueries, joins, advanced PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and custom type definitions.
• Mastery of Unix knowledge and ability to modify and create Unix scripts.
• Participate in Oracle Cloud migrations and mitigate issues identified.
• Work with members of the software development team to coordinate Reporting Instance (RI) Database changes.
• Maintain RI related dependencies and daily Refresh processes.
• Prevent database bottlenecks and ensures rapid response times for mission-critical enterprise applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
• 10+ years relevant experience
• Experience with developing and maintaining applications using Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Oracle database objects, such as procedures, functions, triggers and packages.
• Experience in UNIX
• Must have COMPTIA Sec+

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding and knowledge of Air Force Human Resource process
• Understanding of EBS HCM functionality
• Strong understanding of Oracle and Unix Programming

Clearance & Security Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance suitability

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
