MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Fallon Range Training Complex (FRTC) Network Control Specialist II to join our team in Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, NV. This position is on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Network Monitoring and Analysis: Provides continuously monitor network performance, traffic, and security using tools like Solarwinds, Cisco, and Juniper to identify and address bottlenecks or outages.

  • Performs troubleshooting and Repair - Identify, isolate, and fix network failures, including LAN/WAN, analog/digital circuits, and data voice equipment.

  • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware (routers, switches, cabling) and software.

  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Schedule and perform routine maintenance, including software patches, firmware updates, and hardware repairs to minimize downtime.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of network issues, changes, and configurations, and report status to management or clients.

  • Incident Management: Coordinate with field technicians, vendors, and engineering teams to resolve complex, high-level issues.

  • Completes work with a limited degree of supervision   

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years of experience can be substituted for a degree)

  • Four (4) Years of information technology experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.

  • Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE

Clearance Requirements

  • Must have a current/active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS.

Physical Requirements

  • 10% travel anticipated.

  • Work will require movement from ManTech Site to Government for client meetings and support functions. 

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $94,800.00-$157,200.00.
