MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Fallon Range Training Complex (FRTC) Network Control Specialist II to join our team in Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, NV. This position is on-site 5 days a week.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Network Monitoring and Analysis: Provides continuously monitor network performance, traffic, and security using tools like Solarwinds, Cisco, and Juniper to identify and address bottlenecks or outages.
Performs troubleshooting and Repair - Identify, isolate, and fix network failures, including LAN/WAN, analog/digital circuits, and data voice equipment.
Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware (routers, switches, cabling) and software.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Schedule and perform routine maintenance, including software patches, firmware updates, and hardware repairs to minimize downtime.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of network issues, changes, and configurations, and report status to management or clients.
Incident Management: Coordinate with field technicians, vendors, and engineering teams to resolve complex, high-level issues.
Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (4 years of experience can be substituted for a degree)
Four (4) Years of information technology experience
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.
Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE
Clearance Requirements
Must have a current/active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS.
Physical Requirements
10% travel anticipated.
Work will require movement from ManTech Site to Government for client meetings and support functions.
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $94,800.00-$157,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
