MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator to join our team in Laurel, MD.

Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:

  • Strong background in Cisco FirePower Firewalls.
  • Must maintain and upgrade networks, including routers and switches.
  • Must update and configure virus protection software and other programs to keep the networks secure.
  • Must apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) fixes to switches and Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies.
  • Designing and planning the network for Cisco NEXUS switches
  • Setting up, and maintaining a Cisco network
  • Must be able to configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for device administration on switches.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (Solarwinds)

 Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or an associate’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience or 20 years of experience with a high school diploma 
  • Experience downloading software and upgrading Cisco switches and firewalls.
  • Must have Cisco FirePower firewalls experience

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk.  The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
