MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman Telecommunications Engineering Specialist, Telecom Orders to join our CASTLE-NET Program team. This is a remote position.
Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation’s toughest challenges.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing and processing telecommunications service orders while coordinating with vendors to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Maintaining detailed records and resolving order-related issues to ensure seamless service delivery across the program.
Tracking order status and providing regular updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment with project timelines.
Ensuring all procurement and order activities remain in strict compliance with CASTLE-NET policies and procedures.
Delivering world-class IT services and responsive, dependable customer support to exceed the expectations of USACE IT end-users.
Strengthening the IT foundation by delivering vital solutions and modernized technological support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in managing telecommunications development, operations, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Excellent knowledge of telecommunications systems, including VoIP, PBX, and network infrastructure.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+) and familiarity with USACE policies and regulatory requirements are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the USACE IT environment, regulatory requirements, and data security, best practices are preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
Must possess a Secret security clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $89,100.00-$148,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
