MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Security Analyst, Senior to join our team in King George, VA. This position is Part-time, On-call and will be onsite.
The person filling this role will own the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, taking a system from its initial design through to its Authority to Operate (ATO).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Creating, updating, maintaining, and interpreting required Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation, specifically the System Security Plan (SSP) which details every security control on the system.
Working with management and internal teams to maintain the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to track and remediate security gaps.
Documenting responses to required controls and updating as necessary to support Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) efforts, proving the system remains secure daily.
Maintaining system baselines by reviewing audit logs, scan results, and configuration changes to prevent security drift.
Working with all stakeholders to act as the formal liaison to the Authorizing Official (AO) in the event of a system compromise or data spillage.
Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
12+ years of experience with IT security
Experience with System Security Plan (SSP) and Authority to Operate (ATO).
Preferred Qualifications:
System Admin and network experience
Security protocols
Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (EMAS) knowledge
STIG knowledge
Experience working on Navy surface ship programs or similar defense-related projects.
Proficiency in additional programming languages or scripting tools.
Information Assurance Level One Workforce Improvement Program D0D 8570.01 certification.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active DOD Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
