MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Imaging Technician to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Perform deployment, installation, training, and support of new Windows based computer systems; assist with the design of, installation and support of computer systems and peripherals.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs; travel to install sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, install hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment etc. 
• Conduct site surveys; assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements; design and optimize network topologies.
• Analyze existing requirements and prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions; prepare engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages; develop hardware installation schedules.
• Prepare drawings documenting configuration changes at each site; prepare site installation and test reports.
• Configure computers, communications devices, and peripheral equipment; train site personnel in proper use of hardware; build specialized interconnecting cables.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
• Experience in Customer Service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Productivity applications.
• Must be able to travel at least 25%, domestic and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• One or more technical certifications (Comp TIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Security+, MS Endpoint Administrator, etc.) highly preferred.

Clearance Requirements: 

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting this position and maintain a Secret clearance thereafter.

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
• Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.
• Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer.
• Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc.
• Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
• Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; software/hardware manuals; training manuals; etc.
