MANTECH seeks a mission-driven and detail-oriented Freight Coordinator to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyzes and coordinates the ongoing logistical functions of the organization to ensure mission success. Analyze product delivery or supply chain processes to identify or recommend changes to improve organizational efficiency.
Leads the implementation of logistics solutions and coordinates with Mission Partners to ensure resource availability throughout the distribution lifecycle.
Maintain daily coordination logs and track the status of freight milestones for theaterwide movement initiatives within the movement control center (MCC).
Assist in developing schedules that align delivery goals with current operational realities.
Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
Prepares reports on mission progress and cargo status to ensure all stakeholders are informed of operational constraints.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
3+ years of position-relevant experience.
Ability to draft Technical Reports and follow established SOPs for maritime logistics and freight coordination.
Proficient in using logistics management databases and collaborative SharePoint environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of position-relevant experience.
Foundational training in joint logistics or maritime transportation management.
Familiarity with USSOCOM logistics policies and Host Nation husbanding requirements in the PACOM area of responsibility.
Clearance Requirement:
Must hold an active Public Trust Clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $63,800.00-$105,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
