MANTECH seeks a motivated, customer-oriented Financial Analyst to help support our current Marine Corps Systems Command Contract in Stafford, VA. The successful candidate will assume a range of financial analysis, audit, and reconciliation activities in support of our Marine Corps customer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare government funding documents that convey all categories of Department of Defense appropriations (e.g., MIPR, NIPR, etc.).

  • Prepare and coordinate inputs for regular financial reviews required by the Marine Corps and/or higher headquarters. This may include preparing reports, exhibits, briefings, and artifacts to support various inquiries.

  • Provide financial support and input to integrated product reviews, integrated product teams, and technical working groups, as delineated by program priorities.

  • Assist with the resolution of financial reporting and compliance issues with various government agencies.

  • Conduct other financial management and audit tasks as may be directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience in financial / cost analysis. Additional 3 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 

  • Experience with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI).

  • Possess analytical skills.

  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DAU Level I certification in one of the following areas: business, cost estimating and financial management, contracting, or acquisitions.

  • Demonstrated competency with Budget Execution Validation (BEV),  Key Supporting Documents (KSD), Unliquidated Obligations (ULO), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Electronic Data Access (EDA), Defense Cash Accountability System (DCAS), Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), Microsoft Excel, Authorized Data View and Analytics (Advana), Dormant Account Review – Quarterly (DAR-Q), and audit best practices.

Clearance Required:

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary Work.
