MANTECH seeks an Executive Search Recruiter to join our team in Herndon, VA and deliver top executive talent that will drive our company’s growth. This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site presence 2-3x per week.

The recruiter will lead, advise, and execute recruiting strategies and initiatives to provide full life-cycle services for critical executive searches, researching market trends, and developing and deploying innovative recruiting techniques to support our programs and recruiting initiatives.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partners with Leaders and talent acquisition leadership teams to cultivate networks, identify priority proposal and recruitment needs, and build regionally- and technically focused candidate pools.

  • Drives the development of cutting-edge approaches to sourcing and executive recruitment

  • Recommends ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the company's long-range growth, implementing new processes and/or standard fine-tuning processes, while supporting ManTech's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.

  • Develop procedures and job aids to enable a seamless experience for both the ManTech leadership and Executive candidates

  • Develop a sustainable and scalable executive recruitment methodology.

  • Develop and advise creative executive pipeline planning processes, strategy, and growth initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and +10 years full-life cycle/sourcing executive recruitment experience. 4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.

  • Demonstrated expertise in executive search or experience at a search firm

  • Able to achieve goals and align interests through cooperation and collaboration with other groups and cross-functional teams

  • Ability and willingness to work within strict deadlines, prioritize tasks, respond quickly to unexpected issues and perform independently.

  • Demonstrated experience in all full-life cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying/screening candidates, networking, OFCCP compliance, job analysis, salary trend analysis, and pipeline and relationship management.

  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining on-demand reporting and tracking of active and inactive project support.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to travel for hiring events and job fairs as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, and more importantly, Excel (i.e., ability to construct formulas, use pivot tables, etc. to manipulate and analyze data)

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
