MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director, Enterprise IT PMO to join our team in Herndon, VA.

The Executive Director will leverage their strong technical background and leadership expertise to drive Enterprise IT transformation projects, establishing and maturing the new enterprise IT PMO while delivering large-scale, mission-critical initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of high-impact Enterprise IT transformation projects to ensure technical and operational success.

• Establishing and building the new Enterprise IT PMO from the ground up, defining governance, frameworks, and best practices.

• Working with management, internal teams, and senior authorities to successfully navigate complex project lifecycles and resource allocation.

• Creating, updating, maintaining, and interpreting comprehensive project documentation and reporting for executive leadership.

• Maintaining system baselines and configuration management items to ensure all IT transformation efforts align with corporate security standards.

• Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all Enterprise requirements and mission goals.

• Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements to streamline project delivery and organizational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• M.S. In Information Technology or related fields with 7+ years with progressively responsible experience in Enterprise IT Project Management and PMO leadership.

• Significant experience navigating large-scale IT transformation projects and complex organizational change management.

• Active PMP

• Significant experience meeting technical and operational requirements in large-scale corporate or government environments.

• Experience working across a large team to drive a strategic agenda and working with complex, intertwined systems and data flows.

• Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation to diverse executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with advanced project portfolio management and compliance automation tools.

• Self-starter with excellent people skills - able to work across teams, organize boards, and drive change throughout an organization.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.

• Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication verbally and via email, phone, and virtual communication platforms to interface with co-workers and customers.

• Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, etc.
