MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director, Enterprise Data & AI Enablement to join our team in Herndon, VA.

The Executive Director: Enterprise Data & AI Enablement will leverage their strong technical background and strategic leadership to oversee the modernization of the MANTECH enterprise data ecosystem and the operationalization of Artificial Intelligence. You will be responsible for defining the vision and execution of data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics to support mission-critical business intelligence within the internal MANTECH enterprise.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Architecture & Data Fabric: Develop and execute the Enterprise Data Strategy using Data Fabric principles to unify disparate data sources across OCI, GCP, and Azure.
  • Multi-Cloud Data Warehousing: Manage and optimize enterprise data platforms, specifically overseeing the performance and cost-efficiency of Data Lakes/Warehouse within a hybrid cloud footprint.
  • Intelligent Automation: Engineer end-to-end data integration and process automation workflows using Automation Anywhere to reduce manual intervention and enhance data velocity.
  • Enterprise ETL/MDM: Implement and lead Informatica solutions for robust ETL/ELT, ensuring high-fidelity Master Data Management (MDM) across the enterprise.
  • Hybrid Ecosystem Governance: Establish unified governance and security protocols that span the Google and Microsoft hybrid environment, ensuring compliance and data sovereignty.
  • Advanced Analytics & BI: Deliver sophisticated reporting tools and self-service analytics to transform raw data into actionable business intelligence.
  • AI Operationalization: Deploy scalable AI use cases with established guardrails, leveraging cloud-native AI services while maintaining rigorous ethical and technical governance.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as the technical liaison between business units and IT to ensure complex, intertwined systems meet all functional and security requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in Data Engineering, Strategy, or Information Systems.
  • Proven experience managing Informatica (PowerCenter/IICS) for complex ETL and MDM.
  • Direct experience with OCI Data Warehouse and its integration into non-Oracle ecosystems.
  • Expertise in Automation Anywhere for scaling enterprise data workflows.
  • Significant experience navigating a Google (GCP) and Microsoft (Azure/O365) hybrid environment, specifically regarding identity management, interconnectivity, and data egress optimization.
  • Deep understanding of data security and architectural requirements in high-stakes, regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive a cohesive Data and AI agenda across large, cross-functional teams and complex legacy systems.
  • Proven track record of moving AI from "Proof of Concept" to "Production" within rigorous governance frameworks.

Physical Requirements:

  • You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • You will need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or office machinery.
  • You must frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • You must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
