MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team working in Crane, IN. This will be an onsite role.
As an Engineering Technician, you will serve as a critical bridge between concept and production. You will work collaboratively with the Radar Program Manager, technical teams, and government clients to deliver high-impact solutions for the Radar Technologies Division. This role requires a blend of sophisticated technical troubleshooting, project coordination, and leadership over a multidisciplinary team of engineers, CAD draftsmen, and support staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Synchronize with technical teams and government clients to engineer and implement premier solutions for the Radar Technologies Division
Orchestrate project workflows and interdependencies, ensuring all task order deliverables align strictly with the Statement of Work (SOW).
Execute independent, expert-level circuit analysis and signal flow mapping where standard manufacturer documentation is insufficient.
Diagnose and resolve non-standard system failures using advanced instrumentation, including high-frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, and distortion analyzers.
Partner with cross-functional teams to architect and execute robust test strategies and validation plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent education
5+ years of experience supporting Navy Radar, Electronic Warfare or a variety of Warfare Systems experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting NSWC Crane projects
Experience providing technical oversight and leadership to a team
Experience providing expertise in research/development of new or improved systems or equipment
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an active United States Government Secret security clearance.
Candidate will be required to obtain an interim Secret clearance before onboarding
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
