MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineering Lead to support our customer based in Chantilly, VA.
 
The Engineering Lead is responsible for the effective and efficient envisioning, integrating, configuring/tuning, and sustainment for the software and supporting processes essential to ensuring the required visibility into the End to End (E2E) performance of the COMM supported infrastructure.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the design, development, and integration of ServiceNow automation and supporting processes to ensure required visibility into E2E performance.

  • Developing program logic for new applications while analyzing and modifying logic in existing applications to meet evolving mission requirements.

  • Coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications to ensure system improvements are successfully implemented.

  • Anticipating internal and external business challenges, including vendor or regulatory issues, and recommending innovative process improvements.

  • Solving unique and complex problems with broad business impact through conceptual thinking and advanced technical expertise.

  • Communicating complex concepts to senior executives and persuading stakeholders to adopt strategic technical directions.

  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all operational and service objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)).

  • Leading the design, development, and integration of ServiceNow automation and supporting processes to ensure required visibility into E2E performance.

  • 9+ years of relevant experience in software development services or technical support for complex projects. 

  • 3+ years of recent experience in the design, development, integration, and O&M of ServiceNow automation (operational and business support systems).

  • Proven experience in commercial or Government service provider environments consistent with large-scale development requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects with notable risk and complexity while developing effective strategies for execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related technical or business field.

  • Relevant industry certifications in ServiceNow or enterprise software development.

Clearance Required:

  • Must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
