MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy Program Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage large, dispersed, cross-functional IT service delivery and management program valued over $160 million total contract value (TCV) consisting of multiple CLINs (FFP, T&M, ODCs, etc.). Provide program management, facility management, logistics, deployment, installation services, and training for all Consular employees worldwide. Support approximately 10,000 worldwide clients in over 300 locations; manage a 55,000 sq ft facility containing a state-of-the-art warehouse, an Integration & Configuration Lab, a Break/Fix Workshop, a Network/Server Configuration Lab, 3 Training Labs, a Demonstration Lab and office space for over 150 staff.
  • Develop new processes and procedures for managing & reporting staff changes, overtime & budget controls, and quality assurance and control activities including creating quality reports, customer satisfaction surveys, Additional Hours Approval Requests forms and tracking logs; manage a centralized document repository in SharePoint containing program deliverables, SOPs, and other program support documents to include a quality assurance process for all documents using Power Automate.
  • Build and maintain ‘trusted advisor’ relationships with 6 Government Technical Monitors (GTMs), Division Branch Chiefs, and other DOS senior staff through proactive communication; Lead a PMO team that manages services and delivery for:
  • Training and training materials for all DOS CA new hires and refresh training for users, administrators, technicians, and post support staff to use custom DOS biometric applications and maintain equipment; training is conducted in Arlington, VA, online, and at posts globally; overseas and domestic hardware and software refreshes at over 300 posts globally.
  • Network/Server installation support services for CONUS passport agencies; inventory management for over 200K items and 5K asset tagged IT equipment; manage staffing for a team of 150+, including meeting recruiting and ROS metrics, managing staff transitions (onboarding/offboarding), promotions, staffing, reporting to internal and externals customers.
  • Collaborate with corporate resources to maximize program profitability, program growth, and meet staffing goals (acquisition, retention, promoting, training).
  • Manage IT Modernization efforts including working with ServiceNow and other technologies to streamline and integrate business process workflows; serve as acting Program Manager when Program Manager is not available.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related area of study.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
  • Commensurate experience and education.
  • Experience in Customer Service; experience using Microsoft 365 productivity tools.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.
  • Must be able to work in warehouse and office environments and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer.
  • Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc.
  • Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
  • Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; IT service requests; work orders; etc.
