MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy IT Operations Manager to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The Deputy IT Operations Manager serves as second-in-command for IT operations, supporting the DODIN Operations Lead in day-to-day management and strategic planning.

• Ensure compliance is established and maintained through CSSP inspections, A&A processes, the RMF, and CORA program requirements

• Oversees operational execution of IT services, ensuring capability and readiness of all IT and cybersecurity systems, deploying advanced, secure, and interoperable IT systems to provide an operational advantage to cybersecurity warfighters

• Acts as primary escalation point for operational issues, outages and incident response when the DODIN Operations Lead is unavailable.

• Serve as Acting IT Operations Manager when required.  Support budget planning, resource allocation, staffing and workforce development initiatives.

• This Deputy IT Operations Manager ensures team proficiency in data center operations, communications, cloud, network, DevSecOps, and service delivery, ensuring the team consistently exceeds SLAs.  Enhance operational efficiency through strategic planning, process optimization, and proactive risk mitigation

• The Deputy IT Operations Manager assists the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Operations Lead with managing IT operations and providing direction and mentorship to subordinate team staff

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in field necessary to assume Deputy IT Operations Manager duties.

• Additional experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience

• A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

• A minimum of 9 years of total professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to assume the role of Deputy IT Operations Manager.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active secret clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
