MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Operations Planner to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.
 

The Cyber Operations Planner will support the planning, execution, and coordination of offensive cyber operations (OCO). This role focuses on specialized functions such as Cyber Effects and Cyber Fires Planning to design operations that achieve specific strategic and tactical outcomes.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the full range of joint planning activities at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels across Combatant Commands (COCOMs), component commands, and other partners
  • Participating in the planning and coordination for integrated cyberspace operations to support operational objectives
  • Assisting in the development, execution, management, and assessment of military plans, including theater and global campaign planning, Contingency Plans (CONPLANs), and Operational Plans (OPLANs)
  • Supporting crisis action planning and providing expertise for joint, coalition, and bilateral training exercises related to offensive cyber operations
  • Developing and executing wargame integration to enhance operational readiness and refine cyber operational tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Recommending and implementing process improvements to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements
  • Possible local / CONUS travel up to 25%
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of experience; or High School Diploma and 16+ years of experience; or Associates Degree and 14+ years of experience; or Master's Degree and 10+ years of experience; or PhD and 8+ years of experience
  • Significant experience with the mindset of a Fires Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Fires Warrant Officer
  • Experience working across large teams to drive a security agenda and managing complex, intertwined systems and data flows
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of "Advanced Service Planner Schools" such as WIC, SAMS, SAASS, or JAWS
  • Direct experience in Cyber Mission Force (CMF) structures, specifically supporting Combat Mission Teams (CMT) or National Mission Teams (NMT)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Title 10 vs. Title 50 authorities and the specific legal/policy constraints of offensive operations
     

Clearance Requirements:

  • An active TS/SCI with poly
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $179,300.00-$318,400.00.
