MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Computer Science Intern to work 20 hrs/week on site in Honolulu, Hawaii. 

Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • *Work on innovative projects that offer great technical challenges
  • *Collaborate with colleagues on guided projects that can directly impact contracts
  • *Support Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering solutions within an agile team

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen with an active Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain a US Security Clearance 
  • Current full-time student pursuing a BS in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems or related major with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026
  • Coursework related and/or prior internship related to computer science or computer engineering
  • Work and collaborate within an agile team as well as with the other interns
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior research or studies in Indo-Pacific topics
  • A passion for low-level / embedded Computer Science
  • Working knowledge of software development and DEVSECOPS tools

Clearance Requirements:

  • Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.  

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80%


The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00-$89,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
