MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Network Architect to join our team in Chambersburg, PA or Ft. Meade, MD. This is an onsite position.

The selected candidate will become an integral part of a diverse team working on innovative projects that protect national security. You will provide solution architecture, cloud service expertise, and engineering support to ensure seamless integration and migration of applications into DoD cloud environments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide comprehensive solutions architecture for network/communication engineering, including the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of physical and virtual devices (firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers).
  • Deliver expert Cloud Service Offerings (CSO) across multiple providers (off-prem, on-prem, hybrid, tactical edge), ensuring alignment with DoD governance and developing roadmaps based on demand signals.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of application migration to cloud environments, including P2V/V2V conversion, workload analysis, testing, and deployment.
  • Evaluate commercial CSOs and other DoD contract capabilities against use cases to ensure inclusion in DISA cloud contracts and enterprise capabilities.
  • Support operational cloud features (snapshots, image libraries) and customer use of APIs, CLIs, and management consoles, while resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate technical exchange meetings with CSPs and Mission Owners, and engage user communities to address adoption questions and document lessons learned.
  • Create and maintain critical documentation, including architectural designs, strategic roadmaps, technical specifications, and user guides.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of network engineering and solutions architecture experience.
  • Must possess active CompTIA Security+ AND CompTIA CySA+ certifications.
  • Must meet DoD 8140 requirements for Role Codes: 461 (Systems Security Analyst) and 541 (Vulnerability Assessment Analyst).
  • Experience in architecture and engineering integration activities with all cloud services.
  • Proven experience working in large-scale Information Technology environments similar in scope to this award.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of complex IT environments and DoD security requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Experience operating productively both independently and as part of a team.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current/active Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $104,200.00-$172,900.00.
