MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Financial Operations Analyst to join our team in. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct assessments and design innovative solutions, metrics, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments.
Analyze cloud billing data to identify cost trends, inefficiencies, and anomalies, providing actionable insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Power BI) to track KPIs, total cost of ownership, and customer chargebacks.
Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to build cost estimates, annual budgets, and rolling monthly forecasts.
Monitor actual cloud spend against forecasts, ensuring alignment with financial targets and business objectives.
Establish and enforce governance policies, cost allocation models, and accountability frameworks to enhance financial transparency.
Serve as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on funding priorities and promoting a culture of cost accountability.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience in Financial Operations, Cloud Cost Management, or a similar IT Financial role
Experience with Excel/Google Sheets (macros, pivot tables, complex formulas) and SQL for analyzing large datasets
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or Google Cloud Billing)
Experience with BI tools (AWS Quick Suite or Power BI) to build dashboards
FinOps Certified Practitioner (FinOps Foundation)
Cloud certification (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $54,700.00-$90,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
