MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented ACCESS CONTROL SPECIALIST to join our team in STAFFORD, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in managing access to secure areas, while supporting security compliance and protection of sensitive assets.
Administer physical access control to facilities, ensuring proper credentialing, visitor management, and adherence to access policies
Coordinate badge issuance and revocation, access provisioning, and incident reporting for access violations
Conduct routine reviews of access logs, report anomalies, and assist with investigations of security incidents
Perform database queries using DISS & Scattered Castles; prints reports/results; retrieves case files; makes appropriate database entries.
Perform Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAMS) at customer site.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED and 1-3 years of relevant experience in the security field.
Familiarity with government security regulations, including NISPOM, & DoD Manuels and policies, pertinent to security.
Experience working with access control systems (e.g., CCURE)
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
1 year + experience with using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and /or Scattered Castles.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active / current Top Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able and willing to perform occasional manual labor and warehouse duties, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
