ManTech seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Jr AI/ML Intern to join our innovative team in Ashburn, VA. This is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite a week.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain DHS CBP suitability clearance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Research and experiment with state-of-the-art AI/ML methods (LLMs, generative AI) and evaluate third-party AI/ML tools and frameworks
• Document and present findings and improvements, contributing to the collective knowledge base
• Collect, evaluate, analyze and abstract data from different sources
• Collaborate with intel analysts, enterprise/application architects, database architects, and data scientists
• Brief project management, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications:

• Current full-time student pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with a projected expected graduation date no earlier than December 2026
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain DHS CBP suitability.
• Academic or professional experience with Data Analytics or GenAI
• Experience with Python, Java and SQL
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in Data Processing, AI enabled workflows
• Exposure to cloud platforms; experience with SQL for data analysis

• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain DHS CBP suitability.

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with coworkers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
