MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented 3M Naval Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in San Diego, CA. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with Ship’s Maintenance and Material Management (3M) staff in execution of Commander Naval Surface Pacific’s (COMNAVSURFPAC) 3M program for all Naval Surface Force assets worldwide.

  • Provide maintenance and logistics database support for various interfaces to include: PMSMIS, MDS, SCLSIS, CDMD-OA and RADWEB.

  • Provide oversight to the Integrated Class Maintenance Plans (ICMPs), repair standards and guidance documents, and Quality Assurance (QA) program, as they relate to shipboard and shore preventive maintenance.

  • Review all COMNAVSURFPAC bulk loads to ensure that all work candidates/notifications from INSURV, SURFMEPP, C5RA, and various outside inspection teams are valid and correct prior to loading into command databases for brokering and execution.

  • Provide coordination to all CNSP 3M Coordinators onboard DDG, CG, LHA/LHD, LPD, LCC, LCS, MCM, PC, LAWS, FFG-62, ESD/B, un-manned units, and shore-based units.

  • Provide interface and database support for maintenance and logistics databases.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • 5+ years of Ship’s 3M coordinator experience

  • 10+ years in tandem with Naval ships experience

  • Experience monitoring ship assessments and documenting findings

  • Experience with the SKED program

  • Experience with screening, reviewing and processing Bulk upload files

  • Experience with Completing up lines of JTDI/MBPS or the old RADWEB

  • Experience with Screening and processing PMS feedback reports, Creating ACNs, and Feedback Reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in each of the specified areas pertaining to SURFOR's Material, Maintenance and Management (3M) Program

  • Ability to resolve problems associated with incomplete loads prior to uploading to a ship's CSMP.

  • Experience monitoring ship PMS assessments, documenting all findings about the unit and assessment team performance.

  • Experience providing inputs to CNSP Staff in the development of policy papers, Type Commander 3M inspection Team experience, and interfacing with Littoral Combat Ship Squadrons and ZUMWALT class destroyers.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a current or active Secret Security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires sedentary work, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • The person in this position must be capable to go onboard a ship in an operational and industrial environment, climb ladders, and go through scuttles onboard vessels.

  • The individual must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and virtual methods.


The projected compensation range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,100.00.
